Who I plan for

Multigenerational
Connecting rooms, a pace that suits every age, and mobility or dietary needs sorted with the hotel before you arrive.
Honeymoons and milestones
Honeymoons, anniversaries and big birthdays, with every hotel told what you’re celebrating.
Groups and celebrations
Family reunions, destination birthdays and trips with friends. I hold the rooms, secure group perks and answer everyone’s questions.
Corporate retreats
Leadership offsites and incentive trips. I find the venue, review the contract, and plan the meetings, meals and downtime.

A conversation by phone or video, so I understand how you like to travel and what this trip needs to be.
A personal itinerary with hand-picked hotels and the preferred-partner perks each one includes. If a planning fee applies, I’ll confirm it with you first.
I secure every reservation, share your travel documents, and I’m there if plans change along the way.
BudgetCustom itineraries typically start at around $500 CAD per person, per day, depending on the region. This covers hotels, private guides, transfers and experiences, with flights additional. Hotel-only bookings have no minimum.
A few itineraries designed with trusted experts who live and work in each region. Each one can be reshaped around you.
Japan with kids, beyond Kyoto
Hot-spring towns and craft villages on the quiet west coast, a food tour and samurai experience in Kanazawa, Ghibli Park, a roller coaster park, then Tokyo and the island cats of Enoshima.
Día de los Muertos, family style
A trip I’ve taken with my daughter
A small beach town on the Riviera Nayarit, Halloween with the local kids, a guided Day of the Dead food tour in Sayulita, a Wixárika community in the mountains, surf lessons, sea turtles, then five days of pampering by the sea.
Countryside, coast and caves
Hanoi’s street food, Ninh Binh by rowing boat and bicycle, a night camping inside a jungle cave, then a slow week on the coast near Hoi An.
Temples to a private island
Angkor at dawn, a cooking class in a village outside Phnom Penh, a tented jungle camp with conservation rangers, then five nights on a private island.
A food lover’s journey
Toddy tapping on a coconut estate, a many-course village dinner, the hill country train, tea tasting by the sea and the street food of Colombo.
Sevilla to Lisbon, a food lover’s Iberia
Tapas and flamenco in Sevilla, acorn-fed ham in the hills, oysters from the Algarve’s lagoon, blending your own wine in the Alentejo, then a chef’s table in Lisbon.
Peaks, levadas and island wine
A sunrise ridge hike to Madeira’s highest peak and waterfall walks through ancient laurel forest, balanced with wine lodge tastings, cliffside vineyards, poncha and Michelin dining.
Hot rivers, horses and the Golden Circle
Time in Reykjavík, a steaming river you can bathe in, Icelandic horses in the lava fields, bread baked in the hot ground, two nights just for the northern lights, and a final stay by the sea with hot springs at the water’s edge.

We were a group of 6 with different opinions of what kind of vacation and resort we wanted and Meghan was super patient in helping us narrow down exactly what we were looking for… We arrived to find ourselves booked in awesome rooms, exactly what we were looking for and our dining reservations already confirmed!
Meghan goes above and beyond for all our needs. And allows us to remove any stress of planning. Wherever we go, having Meghan plan it makes the trip even that much better!
She understood our wishes when we travel and having offered this hotel was great for us as it was exactly what we wanted for our final days in London.

Meghan Gough
I worked in hotels, restaurants and wine for fifteen years, so I know how good hotels run behind the scenes. Then I spent more than a decade in project management, keeping complicated work with lots of people on track. Big family trips and group travel need both.
My favourite travel companion is my daughter. Together we’ve trick-or-treated with local kids in a small Mexican beach town and celebrated Day of the Dead, and next we’re off to Japan and the Albanian coast. Travelling with her has taught me what makes a trip work for every age, and it shapes how I plan for families.
I take care of every detail, from the first idea until you’re home again.

Good to know

For hotel-only bookings and many packages, no. Hotels and travel partners pay me a commission, so you pay the same as booking directly, often with preferred-partner perks such as daily breakfast and hotel credits added on. Fully custom itineraries and group trips may include a planning fee.
Not for hotel-only bookings or many packages. A planning fee may apply to fully custom itineraries and group trips, and it covers the research and design of your trip. If it applies, I’ll explain it and confirm it with you before any work begins.
For fully custom itineraries, budgets typically start at around $500 CAD per person, per day, depending on the region, not including flights. That level lets me work with the specialist ground teams in each region who arrange private guides, transfers and experiences. Hotel-only bookings have no minimum.
My business is independent, and I partner with Fora, a travel company with a strong focus on luxury. Fora provides my hotel and supplier relationships, booking systems and support, while you work directly with me.
For international trips, six to twelve months ahead is ideal, and earlier for peak seasons, safaris, groups and special occasions. Shorter timelines are often possible, so just ask.
Yes. I work with Fora’s dedicated flight desk to book premium economy, business and first class flights alongside the rest of your trip.
You’ll have my contact details, and I’ll work with the hotels and partners involved to help put things right. Many of the partners I work with also offer support on the ground around the clock.
Not at all. I’m based in Greater Victoria, and I plan trips for clients across Canada by phone, email and video call.
I strongly recommend it for every trip. Allianz Global Assistance Canada is my preferred insurance partner, and you can get a quote here. For questions about specific coverage, please contact Allianz directly.
